How to use the Online Services
To make use of the online services, the first thing you need to do is to pick up a registration letter from the surgery. This letter will contain all the details you need to register as a user.
To access the online services you can either use the link on the homepage of the web site or visit the site directly www.emisaccess.co.uk.
The first time you visit the site you will need to register. To do this, click where it says ‘New users create your account here’ (underneath the ‘Existing Users Sign In section). You will then be prompted to enter the information on your registration letter. Once you have done this you will be asked to enter your name and date of birth, a password (remember to use letters and numbers) and a security question. After you have entered all this information you will be prompted to go back to the homepage and login. Make sure to keep your registration letter and password somewhere safe as you will need these each time you login.
After registering, you can just enter the information on the login page each time you use the site.
After logging in you will have the choice of changing your password, booking an appointment or ordering a repeat prescription. Appointments are update on our system immediately (and can also be cancelled online). We will check for new prescription requests at least once a day although you should still allow 2 working days for these to be processed.
